There was a long pause before he couldn't contain himself anymore. He had to at least give a hearty chuckle at her sudden admission. The man made an expression of mild irritation as she muttered something in Xingese. He never did get the chance to learn that from Ling. And of course now she was chastising him for the twig.
"It's not like I did that intentionally!" he huffed, managing just barely to keep still as she worked on his hair until he finally had to wonder aloud "Wouldn't this be easier if you untied my ponytail?"
