The worst hide and seek...

The rooftop tiles felt rough under Greeds feet. Scraping his foot back and forth for a while the man found the sensation interesting. However as the suns rays began to cast light on the building he knew the time had come. Carefully then he slipped back down into the upper window of his 'Nest' in Dublith. Hard to believe he'd managed to travel all that way in a single night. But then if he'd stayed in Rush Valley there wouldn't have been much of a challenge.

The callenge. That was the important thing. And the reason why he had left a simple note:

Hey Ninja woman.
I've got something of value to you.
Better find me if you want it back.

A bold statement making his role as the culprit exceedingly clear.

Placing the black, red, and white mask on top of his head with a cunning grin the homunculus had nothing to do now but wait.

Lan Fan rolled her eyes again at the need to take out his aggression on a twig. Watching him start to walk off, she tied her mask off and let it hang down her back before following after him.

"You owe me that much for all the trouble you caused."

"Oh come on. What were you going to do up there anyway? Sit on your ass for four weeks while people tinker with your arm?" Abruptly the man stopped, spinning on his heel and walking purposefully back over to the woman. His expression had become serious, even concerned and with his usual brash and inelegant demeanor Greed reached over to her shoulder and began inspecting the young woman's automail.

As if he'd suddenly had a war flashback the man recalled the strain his body had put on her during the final battle. The feel of blood, her blood, dripping onto his cheek as her automail had started to pull away from her body. In the moment, he'd not thought of any of this,while danging outside the window of the Devil's Nest. Now though he was practically fawning over the artificial limb to check for damage.

Her eyes went wide as he came up on her suddenly. "What are you doing? Get off," she growled, but at the same time didn't move to get out of his grasp. "It's fine."

Since she hadn't moved to stop him Greed's hands pushed back the folds of her shirt so the could look underneath and confirmed that he had been right to be concerned. There was bruising on the sking and some of the wiring had come loose. His line of sight shifted from her shoulder to her face and for the briefest moment the most apologetic expression crossed his face. Soon enough though the expression was gone and he looked serious again.

"Alright. shopping is going to have to wait. We need to get a car and take you back up to the Valley." Internally he was half begging her not to be so stubborn this time, but he was prepared to pick her up and carry her if need be.

She groaned at that, actually rolling her eyes and finally batting at his hands. "I said it was fine, Greed. It doesn't feel any different than it did yesterday."

No, apparently the universe had not heard his silent plea. The man stared at her for a while, his flat expression taking in her look of stubborn defiance before he allowed his shoulders to slump just a bit. "You are a real pain you know that?" He commented as he slipped his arm around her waist, hoisting her up in a blur of motion and then unceremoniously hauling her off under his arm.

"I'm going to look like some kind of kidnapper and it's all your fault" The man complained loudly as his still unbound hair swished behind him.

She yelps as he grabs her, instantly kicking angrily, "Put me down you idiot!" For the love of god, she said it was fine, why couldn't he take her word for it!?

"Hey, if you'd have cooperated I wouldn't be doing this" his scolding was followed by a short (possibly stolen) car ride back up to Rush Valley, where her arms need of more extensive repairs was confirmed. As she was examined Greed sat outside on a bench staring a a lot of people who were staring in turn at him, and after a while even remembered to tie his hair back up.

When Lan Fan finally emerged, her arm was missing. Greed almost opened his mouth for the usual "I told you so", but instead he just shook his head and placed her back in the car in much the same way he had earlier. "Well, you won't be able to help with the shopping like that. So I'll drop you off at the Nest and you can rest up until it's time to eat Alright?".

Lan Fan's look was sour, to say the least, but rather than fight him this time she let him help her, maintaining something of a 'cold shoulder' the entire time.

"You are infuriating," she answered flatly, passively sitting in the car, waiting for him to chauffeur her around.
