Surprise surprise!

There was a time when he'd had to eat an entire table spread by himself just to keep both his and Ling's appetites satiated. That time was past now however and thankful as he was for that he still missed a great deal about it. The excess, the grandure...the company. He had gone out of his way to fix that last bit however and now there was a feast of legendary porportions laid out in front of the man and his special guest. He could only imagine that she was lonely too. Ling was Emperor now (a fact of which Greed was incredibly proud of) and his duties kept him too busy to travel like he had not so long ago. Sheer luck had caused him to come across herat Rush Valley. Of course things went a little askew after that since she could detect his presance and there were certainly still a lot of uncomfortable questions hanging in the air. But for now there was only the now half finished meal.

And some really nice looking dumplings sitting on Lan Fan's side of the table. Surely after all this time he was fast enough to snag a few without her noticing. That was possible wasn't it? There was only one way to find out and with more than a little excitement he waited until he was almost sure she wouldn't notice and then made his lightning fast move.
