Lan Fan looked up as he approached, catching his eyes and a now familiar warmth spread through her--or more accurately the irritation she felt shifted to something else with the way he was looking at her. Her face flushed under the mask and her eyes darted away, looking very much like a suddenly cornered animal. Her breath quickened, feeling the pressure of his fingers on her mask and the movement as he pushed it up and away from her face while she struggled to stay in place, her eyes darting about, trying to see if there were any prying eyes and looking anywhere but at him.
"Someone will see," she protested at barely above a whisper, her hands hovering before her as if about to set against his chest to hold him at bay but hesitating simply because of his bare skin.
