Apparently ignoring her complaints (and thrown food items), Greed adjusted the girl so that he could plant her on the stage in front of the microphone. Then he calmly pointed to a screen hanging over and facing in the direction of the stage. "Now that is where the lyrics appear. When you see them, you sing them to the melody provided by the speakers. Got it?" He grinned then and from somewhere inside his coat the man retrieved a second microphone. "I'll even start you off so you don't have to do the whole thing"
And with a snap of his fingers music began to play as the screen lit up with scrolling words, which were then belted out by a surprisingly pleasant sounding male voice.
"Don't go changing to try and please me You never let me down before Don't imagine you're too familiar And I don't see you anymore
I wouldn't leave you in times of trouble We never could have come this far I took the good times; I'll take the bad times I'll take you just the way you are"
