"Ah, thank you." She smiles, faintly relieved. "I take it that you are... an friend of theirs? They seem like a lively bunch." She can't help but look around, it's nice to see that she's not the only one who isn't downing any alcohol right now. Perhaps it isn't as odd as she feared it would be.

"I'm not surprised. I haven't seen much of you but you just don't seem the type, just the way you sit would say that much to me." She took a sip of her drink. "Your brother is lucky. It's not a bad trait to have. It means you know how to wait for the right moment."

Although before you could wait for the right moment to find your opportunity first you had to know what opportunity you were seeking. That was where the trouble was lately.
