She looked over, eyes narrowed, at him for a moment at his line of questioning before answering, "Here and there. The location does not matter so long as it is secure." She chewed the second inquiry over for a moment. "Yes. But Master-Ling does not always wish to follow the rules exactly at times." Meaning he wanted a little space while he could afford to have it.

"Yeah. I always liked that about him." Greed gave a small nod as he considered the situation. The man kept his eyes on the stage for a long time. "There are bedrooms on the second floor. You wouldn't need to pay or anything. Third floor is all Mine though so unless you plan on sharing a bed with me you might want to stay out of there. Not that I'd mind of course." A broad grin crossing his face, Greed almost chuckled as he ran a few fingers through the loose strands of hair that weren't long enough to fit into his ponytail. He couldn't resist flirting, or didn't bother to at any rate.

That last comment earns him a look. Apparently his goal today really was to have her kick his ass. "That will not be necessary," she answered bluntly. But I will extend your offer to Master Ling." She had little doubt they would accept. It seemed as though they spent most of their time there as it was.

"Sure if you want." He nodded before standing up and stretching. The place was getting empty which was usually a good indication that it was almost time to close up. "I was talking about you specifically though. You know while Ling get's his 'space' or whatever it is he needs right now". Greed crossed his arms over his chest, still apparently looking at everything except her. Inside the man was completely frustrated. Trying his damnedest to do something nice for a person he respected was not something Greed was accustomed to but he'd decided he was going to do this and so he couldn't back out now.

Lan Fan looked over to him then, her expression caught between suspicion and gratitude. She raised her chin a bit as she focused on him. The fact of the matter was that Ling was planning to meet her back here... and even if Greed hadn't invited her in, she probably would have been sleeping on the roof.

"Alright," she answered, lowering her eyes for just a moment before setting a warning gaze on him. "But don't try anything funny."

Greed turned toward her and for a moment there almost seemed to be some kind of color on his face. But then he rolled his eyes sarcastically and shook his head. "Come ON". He groaned as he began to help put chairs on top of tables. "You really think I'd do something like that without getting your full and possibly written consent?" He waved a hand at her as if batting the vary notion away dismissively "Not a chance Ninja Girl. Not only would I have to answer to that little-- to Ling, but it's just no fun that way!" He turned then, finally facing her again with his broad shark-like smile

"When Ladies scream MY name. I want it to be a happy sound."

"Considering you just alluded to having me in your bed--" she started off bluntly--before he finished on that last comment and utterly derailed her train of thought, causing her her to stutter over her words while her face turned that lovely shade of bright red all over again.

And she abruptly turned, putting her back to him while crossing her arms. "Well that is not going to happen."

"Fine fine" He told her, though he was still smiling in a kind of 'reminiscing about things you don't want to know about' way. The last chair had been set up for the night and all that was left was to kick the last couple of drunks out and shut the downstairs lights off. Without all the yelling and music the place seemed almost peaceful in it's silence.

"Have you eaten yet?" He asked casually once his little trip down memory lane was over. "I mean besides the popcorn from earlier" He added after a pause.

She stubbornly ignored his question for a long minute until her stomach answered it for her with a loud growl. Another second or two of inward grumbling and she replied, "It was a while ago."

Her stomach answered before she did and Greed completely failed at no smiling about the noise. Considering the situation brought about the realization though that he hadn't eaten in a while either, and considering the time of day (close to three in the morning), presented another problem.

"Well there isn't much that's open right now, but there's a kitchen upstairs so I can fix something for you" He didn't mention that the kitchen was in the top floor that he'd already proclaimed to be 'his domain'. But then again she didn't have to sleep there to share a meal with the man.

Looking over at him, her expression softening just a bit, "That will work." A pause. "You did not strike me as much of a cook." It isn't necessarily a jab, just a statement of appearances.

Placing his hands casually behind his head as he lead the way up the stair Greed's tone became more relaxed than his usual arrogant barking. "Well I like to have other people do stuff for me" He commented. "But I've always made sure I could take care of myself when I had to. Gotta say though it's a lot easier now that I don't have to eat for both of us" He chuckled slightly as he recalled how Ling's appetite and his own combined had made for some pretty nightmarish hunger pangs.

As they passed the second floor he took a moment to wave his hand at the place "This is where the extra sleeping rooms are" He said, giving a lazy tour "There's a bathroom at the end of the hall too." He nodded and continued up the stairs. "But the only non-service kitchen is upstairs, on my floor. He was pretty proud of the floor because he'd converted it into a full scale apartment with all his favorite amenities.

Lan Fan could imagine. Having her and Ling together was a feat on its own. She could imagine if Ling's appetite was doubled. She looked down through the second floor and nodded in response.

"And will there be any stipulations on entering your floor?" she asked--but if he was paying attention her tone was different than before.

She was actually making a joke.

He shook his head and laughed in probably the most genuine way anyone had ever heard him. "Nothing too big. Just remember it's my place so I'm the boss. Other than that make yourself comfortable." At the top of the stairs he pushed the door open to reveal a slightly messy apartment. The bedroom was separated by an arch with no door and looking inside one could see a circular bed built into the floor that didn't look like it had been made in a few days. The living room had a couch with several articles of clothing draped over the back, most of which would probably be familiar to the woman as they had all belonged to Ling at one point or another.

The kitchen was separated from the living room by a counter with bar stools on the living room side and there was a round table next to a window that had a few plates left on it (one of which had a bread crust still laying on it). The bathroom was no where in sight and so likely connected to the bedroom (and indeed if she could see the bathtub she might actually be impressed).

"Of course," she answered as she followed. Lan Fan took in the rooms and noted any exits and the position of furniture--all out of sheer habit. Only after that was she able to really take in the flat for what it was. It was nice, she couldn't deny it (though nothing in comparison to the rooms she was used to in the Yao palace).

Without any further preamble she moved to take a seat at the counter on one of the bar stools, waiting to see what he had in mind.
