Write whatever prompt you want to get things going!
I don't mind if things get "hot", but if they go to the bedroom we're not going to follow them (we can however check back in the next morning/a few hours later/whatever)

on 2013-01-08 04:42 pm (UTC)For Superboy it was nothing to put much thought into. Maybe because he had too much on his mind to think about or maybe it really was inconsequential. Either way he boredly sat there looking down watching people move around, not unlike ants that know their destination and try to hurriedly get there. Apparently the snow haters were in full force today. A car skidded causing him to lower his hand from his chin, about to get up to prevent an accident. However it turned out to be all right after some choice words were uttered that his cloned kryptonian hearing picked up easily. Putting his hand back under his chin he continued watching boredly. Soon he would move to a different part of the city. Was he really doomed to spend days at a time doing this?
Ha ha! Lets do this >D
on 2013-01-08 05:46 pm (UTC)The entire situation was too much for her to resist. So with gusto she flopped onto her back in the powdery snow and waved her legs and arms around ridiculously. Only after she'd stopped moving did she gaze up towards the sky, only to see someone else looking back down from a rooftop. hm. That's strange Mia's wondered what he could be doing up there.

on 2013-01-08 07:21 pm (UTC)When his thoughts starting to drift uncomfortably close the depressing ponderings of whether he could even be considered a person, a woman that had flown through the air entered his view. This image had been so sudden and abrupt to him that his hand slipped off his chin and his head fell forward slightly. When he regained his composure his eyes were instantly drawn to her chest. Not for the reason most young men his age would have done, but because she wore the same shield, the same crest that was on his suit. Sure it was different, but it was hard to mistake it for anything else. Before he could think any more on the issue his eyes moved up to find that she was staring right at him. All those stories down, no one had seen him, let alone looked up at all. Instinctually he rose from his seat on the edge of the roof into the air above the building. What could he do? Was she angry, did he just do something wrong, again or was she just going to start fighting with him like the girl with the blonde hair did?
Of all the snow, cold air, and sharp gusts of wind the only thing frozen was him.

Her coat made the thing a little deformed. So she laughed along with them until they all ran off to throw snowballs at each other and she turned to look at the boy again. Cheerful expression still planted firmly upon her face.

on 2013-01-08 08:19 pm (UTC)Then it hit him in that moment while she was looking away. Of course! He looked down at his clothes and they began come off his body through his tactile kinesis until it was plain to see the black and red suit he wore that had a similar S in the center of his chest. The red part of his suit stood out from the black, almost seeming to glow. That had to be it. Like him, all she needed to see was that crest.
Now he wondered if that was such a good idea. The last girl who saw the S wanted to beat the living daylights out of him. His breath, which was visible thanks to the cold, vanished for a brief moment as he took a deep breath, half expecting her to bull rush him, flying at blinding speed.

on 2013-01-08 08:54 pm (UTC)"Are you okay? You didn't wave back" She said with a girn. She had about a million questions, having only been able to be around Superman briefly. But that could wait until she found out if he even wanted to talk to her.

on 2013-01-08 09:16 pm (UTC)"I-uh, well, I don't know." he half blurted out. "But your chest-I mean you have it like I do." pointing his symbol as he talked. "It's different but it's just..." This was going swimmingly. "I thought you might be someone who-"
'Who what?' he asked himself mentally. 'Who knows what this all means and what I'm supposed do because of it?.
"I really don't know why I have it." he said looking down at his feet which had a of empty space between him and the ground far, far below. "I thought you might know."

on 2013-01-09 02:49 pm (UTC)Looking down at that symbol that meant family, or at least the family of Kal-El. "Sounds like something nice." Feeling like some kind of imposter just got a lot worse now that he knew what it stood for. "How did you get yours?" he asked trying to justify to himself that maybe, just maybe it was all right to keep wearing it. She seemed nice enough and he suddenly thought maybe those who weren't from Superman's family wore black and red. Subconsciously?

on 2013-01-10 06:40 pm (UTC)Before she knew it he was asking about her own crest. With relief she folded her legs underneath her body. "I used to be a normal girl you know. Well, I thought I was normal anyway. What I mean is; I didn't know I was a daxamite until after all of this happened" she waved her hands around her body in an exaggerated manner. "But I got in a car crash on my first road trip with my friends and while I was in the hospital someone found out what I really was and when I came out of the coma-- oh yeah I was in a coma after the crash sorry-- anyway after I woke up they took me to their facility where they added Kal-El's DNA to mine and jump started my powers with a focused charge of solar radiation and 'woosh' here I am". She grinned sheepishly and finally added "Didn't work out too well for them though. I kind of shot out of the compound like a bullet and careened all the way to new york where Spiderman helped me crash land in a river."

on 2013-01-10 07:17 pm (UTC)“Lucky there was someone to help you.” Spider-Man was a new one for him, but it was hardly a surprise. Quite a few meta humans and empowered beings seemed to be in abundance. Discovering which ones you could trust and which ones you couldn’t was the most difficult issue. She, on the other hand, seemed like someone trustworthy. “Um, I’m-uh Superboy. At least that’s what I’ve been called.” Extending his hand forward was a little strange since it was the first time he had to shake someone’s hand. “Well, that’s not true. I’ve been called Kon-El too, but I’m not too sure what it means.”
‘Not yet anyway.’ he thought to himself.

on 2013-01-10 10:46 pm (UTC)She wasn't at all sure whether she should tell him her secret identity or not. On the one hand; Kal-El told her she had to protect it. On the other hand; Kara had said that for a while she tried not to have a secret identity at all. Mia had thought of that and couldn't imagine spending 24 hrs a day as Cir-El.

on 2013-01-15 12:01 am (UTC)"With my power? I try to help people who need it. That's the only thing there is to do about it right? I mean, I guess you could become evil but who wants to do that?" As she spoke she glided through the drifting snow and wind until she could see a little flicker of gold in the distance. And just beyond that would be the massive green head of the Statue of Liberty.

on 2013-01-16 04:42 pm (UTC)"There are plenty of people that would. A lot of them already have I think." With the encounters he had with other powered beings, it was easy to come to the conclusion that being evil was definitely an option many had taken or at least considered. "I've had to deal with a few of those that chose not to help people." recalling the fight he had with a couple that had gone down that path.
As they continued their flight over New York he saw where she was headed: The Statue of Liberty towered into the sky. "That wasn't the place I was expecting." For some reason he was expecting something far more remote.
